Executive Chef Anthony Bar

Born and raised in Lille, France, Executive Chef Anthony Bar brings more than two decades of culinary experience and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences to South Coast Winery Resort & Spa.

Classically trained in French culinary techniques, Chef Anthony has built an impressive career spanning luxury hospitality, wineries, fine dining restaurants, large-scale events, and high-profile culinary productions. His approach blends traditional French foundations with modern techniques, fresh seasonal ingredients, and a commitment to thoughtful, approachable cuisine.

Prior to joining South Coast Winery, Anthony served as Executive Chef at Newton's Saddlerack in Texas and was featured as Executive Chef on Hulu's Vanderpump Villa, where he developed more than 150 unique dishes across multiple dining concepts. Throughout his career, he has led acclaimed kitchens in California and Texas while earning a reputation for creativity, adaptability, and exceptional attention to detail.

Chef Anthony is focused on showcasing the flavors of Temecula Wine Country through menus that celebrate locally sourced ingredients, seasonal inspiration, and dishes designed to pair beautifully with South Coast Winery's award-winning wines.
