Eight Ripe Grape Stomps and Five Rhythm on the Vine® Concert Performances
TEMECULA, Calif. – During September South Coast Winery Resort & Spa, recently named as a fifth time award winner of the Golden State Winery of the Year by the California State Fair in the California Commercial Wine Competition, will be celebrating its contribution to California’s excellent, world famous, varied and diverse wine production during California Wine Month.
As part of this tribute, it is hosting lots-of-fun, two-person team Grape Stomp sessions in its spacious Vintner’s Garden on select Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in September. The resort will also present five outdoors live music performances during the month – from jazz to rock. And guests can imbibe on South Coast’s two recent Double Gold awards from the California State Fair – 2020 Pinot Blanc, Best of Region White with a score of 100 and NV Daybreakwith a score of 99 – in the winery’s tasting room.

Fridays, September 9 and 16 at 3 and 5 p.m.
Saturdays, September 3, 10, 17 and 24 at 11 a.m., 1, 3 and 5 p.m.
Sundays, September 4 and 18 at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m.
South Coast Winery’s Grape Stomp is a wonderful wine experience for two-person teams – one person stomps in the grape barrel and the other team member collects the stomped ripe grape juice in a bottle. Tickets start at $170 and include grape stomp participation for a team of two people, two tasting tickets to South Coast Winery and a case of wine per two participants. Cases can be mixed and matched. Guests reserve their spot by purchasing a timeslot on the online store. The non-refundable deposit is $50 and counts for a team of two people and is applied towards the case purchase.
Tickets are available online at https://store.wineresort.com/home starting on August 2 and are only available to participants 21 and over.

September Rhythm on the Vine® Contemporary Music Concerts
Thursday, September 1: Doors open at 5 p.m., and concert begins at 6:30 p.m.
Friday, September 2 and 23: Doors open at 6 p.m., and concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
Award winning South Coast Winery Resort & Spa’s Rhythm on the Vine® Concert Series will host three performances during September’s California Wine Month in the resort’s scenic outdoor courtyard. On Thursday, September 1, Los Angeles native Beth Hart, whose singing genres include blues, rock, jazz, fusion and soul will perform. On Friday, September 2, the series presents 98 Degrees, a four-man American pop and R&B Billboard Hot 100 band formed in Los Angeles by member Jeff Timmons. And on Friday, September 23, Los Lobos, a six-man band from East Los Angeles known for its eclectic list of music genres and styles, including rock and roll, Tex-Mex, country, zydeco, folk, R&B, blues, brown-eyed soul, Chicano rock and roll and cowpunk will entertain “among the vines.”

Rhythm on the Vine® Jazz Concert Performances in September
Sunday, September 11, and Sunday, September 25, in the Vintner’s Garden
Doors open at 6 p.m.; meet and greet if purchased from 6 to 6:45 p.m.; show starts at 7 p.m.
On Sunday, September 11, Michael Paulo, Blake Aaron & Tateng Katindig are the starring trio, and each has a passion for smooth jazz. Paulo is a fine saxophonist who plays in the pop/jazz crossover fields performing “music for your soul.” Aaron is a composer and musician who has been called “a genius on the guitar.” With a love for smooth jazz, pianist Katindig plays straight ahead jazz and blues. On Sunday, September 25, Steve Oliver and Michael Lington will headline. Guitarist Oliver and saxophonist Lington are two smooth jazz artists who have successfully collaborated in past performances. Their vibrant musical styles have earned them multiple hit singles and Billboard hits, and Oliver is featured in Acoustic Alchemy line-ups.
Ticket prices are $65 for general admission, chair seating only; $85 for preferred seating, which includes a table and is situated behind VIP seating; $150 for VIP tickets, which are close to the stage and include a table. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.southcoastwinery.com/concerts.
