Silver Anniversary Celebration Includes Special Wines, Spa Treatments, Getaway Package
TEMECULA, Calif. – Marking its milestone 25th anniversary, South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is raising a glass to a quarter-century of excellence, innovation and unforgettable guest experiences with the debut of two new commemorative wines: a bold 2023 cabernet sauvignon and a vibrant 2025 sauvignon blanc.
Founded in 2001 by the Carter family, South Coast Winery Resort & Spa has played an integral role in establishing Temecula Valley as one of California’s premier wine destinations. Over its 25-year history, the acclaimed winery and resort has earned multiple accolades, including the distinction of being the only winery named California State Winery of the Year five times. Set on 63 acres of rolling vineyards in the heart of Southern California’s picturesque Temecula Valley, the property has emerged as an industry leader synonymous with sustainable winemaking, award-winning hospitality and memorable experiences – from romantic getaways and destination weddings to relaxing retreats and wine country escapes.
According to master winemaker Jon McPhearson, the new anniversary varietals were created especially to commemorate this landmark year embodying the resort’s pioneering commitment to innovation, craftsmanship and sustainable winemaking. “Our anniversary cabernet is a 2023 vintage from our Wild Horse Peak Mountain Vineyards – a complex blend of 86% cabernet sauvignon, 8% malbec and 6% petit sirah – aged for 24 months in French oak to create richness, structure and depth,” he said. “Barrel fermented in French oak, the 25th anniversary sauvignon blanc is a dynamic blend that reimagines the varietal with greater texture and body alongside an added punch of exotic fruit with hints of chardonnay and viognier grapes for a beautifully balanced finish.”
To commemorate 25 years of award-winning wines and exceptional hospitality in Southern California’s wine country, South Coast Winery Resort & Spa unveils a curated lineup of anniversary experiences and special offerings throughout the remainder of 2026. Highlights include:
• A signature Silver Cocktail at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant
• 25th Celebration Massage at GrapeSeed Spa (50 minutes, $175) using nourishing chardonnay grapeseed oil to hydrate skin, enhance circulation and melt tension
• “Cheers to 25 Years” overnight getaway package with a 25% discount off best available room rate, wine tasting for two ($50 value), a $25 dining credit and a bottle each of the 25th anniversary wines ($70 retail value) with rates starting at $299, excluding tax
