How much does it cost to join South Coast Winery’s Wine Club?
Members of South Coast Winery’s Reds, Whites, Mixed and Sweets Clubs receive 3 bottles each quarter during the months of February, May, August and November. Wild Horse Peak Posse Club and Sparkling Club members receive 2 specially selected bottles of wine every other month (Posse months begin January 1 and Sparkling Months begin February 1). Each wine is personally chosen by our winemakers. Cost for these selections varies between $35-$75 plus applicable tax and shipping. New members who join between shipments will receive the most recent selection and continue with the months selected. All selections will be automatically charged within two weeks prior to shipment/pick up. Notification will be sent when we have charged your card and again after packages are shipped, or ready for pick up. No Exchanges allowed.

How will I know when I have been charged?
We will bill the credit card we have on file for your account up to two weeks prior to the first day of the month the wine selections are to be released. For example, if the new collection is due to be released on February 1st then we will bill your credit card approximately between January 15th and the 31st.

What if I do not like the wine(s) selected for me?

Our Winemakers attempt to hand select a variety of wines that will have an appeal to most members. Due to inventory and varied wine prices, we are unable to substitute bottles. May we suggest that you at least give the Winemaker’s selections a try? You may be pleasantly surprised!

Can my wine club benefits be extended to someone else?
Club benefits are exclusive to the person(s) named on the account. However, tasting benefits are available for up to four people including the member(s) who must be present at the time of the tasting

Can I send someone in to pick up wine or gifts for me?
Yes, however all purchases should be made prior to their arrival for pickup. We can either charge the credit card on file or you may use an alternative card when placing the order. Please notify us of the date and name of the person(s) picking up your order.

How can I make changes to my wine club account?
If you need to update your account with new information such as, new address, new phone number(s), new credit card number or expiration date, club subscription, ship or will call, you may contact us by phone 866-994-6379 x7210, by mail, by emailing the wine club at wineclub@wineresort.com, or by filling out a wine club member information change form the next time you stop by.

What happens if my wine club shipment is sent back to the winery?
We ship UPS Ground with an estimate of 5-7 business days for delivery. We are unable to ship to a P.O. Box APO/FPO, and an adult signature is requiredat the time of delivery. We strongly suggest you provide a business address for shipments if you are away from home during the day. Address changes MUST be received by us prior to shipping. If you are unable to sign for your wine package on any of the 3 delivery attempts, UPS will return your package to South Coast Winery. You have the option to have your package held for pick up or reshipped for an additional shipping fee**.

What happens if one or more of my bottles in my shipment arrives broken or is leaking?
UPS usually catches any broken contents before it is sent to the receiver, however, if you do receive broken or leaking bottles in your shipment, please notify us and we will assist you accordingly.

How do I obtain my two complimentary tasting tickets per wine club shipment?
Ask the Wine Club concierge or a tasting room attendant to direct you to the new Wine Club Tasting Ticket Kiosk. Using your Wine Club Membership Card, you will now be able to obtain your complimentary tasting tickets from the Wine Club Tasting Ticket Kiosk, located beside the Wine Club patio, outside of the Vineyard Rose Restaurant. Swipe your membership card and you will be able to print out up to four of your complimentary tasting tickets per swipe. There is no limit to the number of tickets you may accumulate. Each time you get billed, you get two tickets automatically added to your account.

How many guests can I bring with me to taste?
Complimentary tasting benefits (from wine club shipment) are available for up to four people including the member(s) who must be present at the time of the tasting,or at the discounted rate of two-for-one per visit. Additional guests in your group would pay the regular $15 tasting fee for general selection or $18 tasting fee for reserve selection.

How will I know when my wine is ready for pick up at Will Call?
You will be notified by email as soon as your selection is ready for you.

If I can’t make it to the winery, can I have someone else pick up my wine for me?
Yes, absolutely! Just be sure to give us a call with the name of the person picking up, prior to their arrival, so that we can make notes on your account.

How long will the winery hold my wines at will call for me?

We kindly ask that you come within the first month of release to pick up your wine club selection or call wine club at (951) 587-9463 ext. 7210 to arrange an alternate pick up date. However, we do not hold the specific wine charged. Vintages do change frequently. If the specific wine is unavailable at the time of pick up we will substitute for a different vintage or comparable varietal of our choice.
Can I put my membership on hold?

We understand that things come up and that you may need to temporarily suspend your membership. We can place your account on hold for up to six months. Your account will then automatically be reactivated next quarter. Keep in mind, that your wine club benefits will be suspended as well.

How long does my wine club membership last?
Your wine club membership lasts for as long as you wish it to continue. There is no annual fee and your only obligation is to purchase just two quarterly collections. You may stop your membership anytime after that with written notice.

What benefits do I receive as a wine club member?
There are many great things that we offer to our wine club members, you benefits include:

  • 15% on retail merchandise in the gift shop

  • 10% Discount at the Vineyard Rose Restaurant for up to 4 people.
  • 20% Discount at the GrapeSeed Spa all day every Monday thru Friday and 10% Sundays
  • Special Wine Club only events
  • Two complimentary tasting tickets per shipment.
  • Two-for-one tasting ticket privileges (limit 2 per visit)
  • Private members only area for your weekend visits
  • Special Wine Club only events

How can I cancel my wine club membership?
Although, we are always sad to lose our valued members, there are several different ways to cancel your membership.

We cannot ship in above 80 degrees or below 30 degrees, we cannot control what regional routes are taken and through what temperatures. If given discretion, we will not ship when there are hot or cold waves in large portions of the country. We will ship in a reasonable time period when extreme temperatures subside.  We DO NOT REFUND for wine that is damaged due to extreme heat or cold weather in transit.  We will replace bottles for an additional shipping charge if the damaged bottle is returned.  No exchanges are allowed.Any shipping costs incurred for; refused, missed or reshipped wines are the responsibility of the member.  All wine club members or recipients must be 21 years of age or older.  If you are currently a ship-to customer and prefer to pick up your selection at the winery, please contact the Wine Club Concierge at 951.587.9463 or 866.994.6379 x7210 at least two weeks prior to release date.
Memberships may be canceled at any time with written notice after the second shipment without further obligation, except for wine shipments billed or shipped prior to receipt of notice by South Coast Winery. All selections that have been billed are non-refundable.

**Additional UPS charges will be required, when change-in-address or package re-route requests are received by South Coast Winery after shipments have occurred:   $11 change of address; $6.50 returned package; $10 delivery intercept fee.   It is the responsibility of the member to notify South Coast Winery of any address change before wine is shipped.
